Philippe Piron is the President & CEO of GE Power Conversion. He is responsible for steering the company's strategy and for continuing to develop the business across multiple energy-intensive industries, contributing to decarbonize their footprint and to electrify the world, while driving commercial and operational excellence.

Philippe joined GE in November 2020. Prior to this, he was President and CEO of the system provider Alcatel Submarine Networks (Telecom, Oil & Gas, Defense), having previously carried out CEO roles at GEA Group (Oil & Gas, Power, Renewables) and Roxel Propulsion Systems (Aerospace & Defense).

A graduate (PhD) of Ecole Polytechnique, Philippe is an accomplished CEO who has a wealth of experience in industrial companies with a multi-continental footprint (Americas, EMEA, Asia-Pacific). He has been deeply involved in the fields of energy, marine, defense, electro-intensive industries, and digital engineered products.
